She explained that the warm drape was reflecting yellow back onto my skin, while the cool drape looked much more in harmony. As soon as she swapped the drapes, I could see it too! I tested the AI styling app with 20 million users 👀 Lumi creates “personalised” outfits based on your body type, colouring and style… but I quickly realised the recommendations are only as good as how accurately the app categorises you. It typed me as a Bright Winter and very casual, which honestly didn’t feel like me at all 😅 The app is very done-for-you, almost like having fully styled shopping suggestions ready to buy instantly. Great for beginners who want easy outfits. Less useful if you already have a strong personal style. Would you try an AI stylist?

I tested Lumi for a full week so you don’t have to 👀🤖 The good: ✅ Outfit inspiration ✅ Styling lessons ✅ Easy outfit formulas ✅ Shopping actually worked The not-so-good: ❌ Lots of very safe outfit recommendations ❌ Limited understanding of personal style ❌ Doesn’t know what’s already in your wardrobe ❌ Some pricing and subscription confusion My conclusion? AI is getting pretty good at creating outfits. It’s still not very good at understanding you. Full review is now live 🎥✨

After testing Lumi for a week… these are the improvements I’d LOVE to see 👀🤖 The biggest one? I really think AI styling apps need to focus less on “buy this outfit” and more on helping people develop their actual personal style. I’d also love: • wardrobe integration • better accessory styling • more personality in the outfits • clearer pricing/subscription info • more flexibility outside of rigid style categories Because right now the AI feels more like a smart shopping assistant than a true stylist. Still interesting though 👀

Okay, despite all my critiques… Lumi actually did a few things really well 👀🤖 The app is strongest when it comes to: • outfit formulas • proportions • styling structure • giving people easy starting points And honestly? The educational side surprised me too. There’s a lot in there for people still figuring out their personal style. I still think the AI leans too safe and generic overall, but there ARE features I genuinely found helpful. So no… not revolutionary. But not useless either 😂
