I’m an Australian personal stylist and fashion, DIY and faith life blogger who thrives on layering, pattern mixing, unexpected pairings and helping you find your inner confidence. Fueled by all things chocolate and a daily dose of cat cuddles, I provide style advice and guidance for the unsure fashionista so they can discover their own personal style and feel confident in their own skin. I also help those feeling creatively suppressed by providing ideas and inspiration to help release their inner innovator, increase life satisfaction and feel more happy and content in the day to day.

If you’ve ever owned a built-in bra top… you already know the struggle with those removable inserts 😅

They twist, disappear in the wash, and somehow never go back in properly.

I still wear them because they’re easy, but I genuinely thought that was just part of it… until I tried one with a sewn-in bra.

This one’s from @magicbrastore 🤍

EP. 5 of colour combos you need to try this week 🎨
EP. 5 of colour combos you need to try this week 🎨

This week is a mix of soft + rich tones and a little bit of “this shouldn’t work… but it does.”

• Pastel purple, mint + raw sienna
• Layering different reds + pinks
• Mint, pastel pink + cool brown
• Burgundy + muted purple

The more you train your eye with colour, the easier outfits get. You stop defaulting to the same safe combinations.

Which one would you wear… and which one are you not convinced by yet?

Save this for your next outfit day 💫

The Outfit Edit, ep 10. Animal print styled with colour. A silk midi skirt grounded with black, layered with a burgundy leather blazer, then pushed further with mixed accessories and strong details. I like when outfits feel rich and a little unexpected, but still intentional.

If you’re into animal print, colour-led outfits, and statement styling, you’ll get this one.

What’s your go-to way to style animal print?

3 ways I’d style Ruby Red Mary Janes ❤️

I feel like red shoes can seem a bit intimidating at first, but the key is to let them be the statement and keep the rest of the outfit balanced.

These are three ways I’d actually wear them, from casual through to something a bit more elevated.

Which outfit would you wear? 1, 2 or 3?

My honest review of the @alta closet app after a few months of use and a full week of testing it.

I’ve tried a lot of closet apps over the years, and this is one of the best I’ve used for actually seeing your wardrobe clearly and getting outfit ideas from what you already own.

There’s a lot to like:
A really strong digital wardrobe setup
Outfit suggestions that push you to try new combinations
A tool that actually helps you use your clothes more

The AI styling is good, but not perfect. It can miss things like colour connections, practicality and real life context.

That said, with a few refinements, I genuinely think this could be one of the best closet apps out there.

I’m a big fan, I just think it works best as a tool rather than something to follow without question.

Would you use it?

@alta closet app in 30 seconds.

I’ve been using it for a few months and even tested it by letting it style my outfits for a full week.

What I love:
Seeing my full wardrobe in one place
Getting outfit ideas from pieces I already own
Being pushed to try combinations I wouldn’t normally reach for

The AI styling isn’t perfect yet, but with a few refinements it could easily be one of the best out there.

I’m a big fan.

Would you try it?

After using the @alta closet app for a few months
After using the @alta closet app for a few months and putting it to the test for a full week, these are the areas where it still falls short.

The AI can definitely build outfits, and sometimes it gets close, but there are a few consistent things I noticed:

Colour combinations that don’t fully connect
Random accessories that feel added in rather than styled
Outfits that don’t always consider weather or real life practicality

As a personal stylist, those details are everything.

I actually think apps like this are really interesting and useful in some ways, but they’re not replacing human styling any time soon.

Curious what you think, would these be deal breakers for you?

After using the @alta closet app for a few months and putting it to the test for a full week, these are the features I think it actually does well.

There’s a lot to like, especially when you use it as a tool rather than expecting it to do everything for you.

Things like:
Seeing your full wardrobe in one place
Getting outfit ideas from pieces you already own
Exploring combinations you might not have thought of

As a personal stylist, I don’t see AI replacing human styling, but I do think apps like this can be really helpful alongside it.

It’s less about perfection and more about support.

Curious, which of these features would you actually use?

I let an AI closet app style my outfits for an entire week… and these were the results.

I’ve been using the @alta wardrobe app for a few months so it had time to learn my style and see everything in my closet. But I wanted to see how the AI styling actually works in real life.

For the first three days I chose from the outfits already loaded on the homepage. No scrolling for better options.

For days four to seven I switched to the AI stylist chat and asked it to style me based on what I needed that day.

Some outfits were genuinely good.
Some were… questionable.
One was completely unsalvageable.

As a personal stylist I found the results fascinating.

So now I’m curious. After seeing all seven outfits, would you trust AI to style you?
