StyleWe Review Pinterest

StyleWe has been making waves on social media, and I was curious to see if the brand lives up to the buzz. At first glance, StyleWe may remind you of Shein, but they position themselves differently, offering unique designs crafted by independent fashion designers. In this StyleWe review, I’ll share my honest thoughts on six pieces from their collection, including everything from shipping to sizing and styling. Watch below for the video review or read on for a blog post version.

What Is StyleWe?

Founded in 2015, StyleWe is an online multi-designer platform that collaborates with independent fashion designers. Their mission is to offer high-quality, exclusive designs while supporting designers in achieving their dreams. Unlike fast-fashion giants that often replicate trends, StyleWe aims to bring cutting-edge fashion to a global audience while retaining originality.

Their price point is slightly higher than brands like Shein, but this reflects their emphasis on quality and independent design. Naturally, I wanted to test their claims and see how their products stack up.

My Shopping Experience

Sizing & Measurements

When shopping online, sizing can be tricky. I always check detailed size charts and use my measurements to guide my choices. For reference, I’m 5’7” with a bust of 34″, waist of 29″, and hips of 38″.

For this review, I chose Medium for most items and Small for the velvet pants. Sizing varied slightly across pieces, so be sure to consult the individual charts for the best fit.

Shipping Speed

My order was placed on December 13th and arrived on December 20th—just seven days later! This was faster than expected, especially during the busy holiday season. While I can’t guarantee shipping will always be this quick, I was impressed with the speed this time.

Honest Reviews of Each Piece

1. Green Velvet Blazer ($111.64 AUD)

This double-breasted blazer features a stretchy polyester lining for comfort and shoulder pads for structure. While I sized up to allow for layering, it ended up being a bit oversized. The warm-toned green velvet wasn’t the best match for my complexion, but the overall quality was solid.

2. Green Velvet Pants ($63.79 AUD)

These matching wide-leg pants were a highlight! The elasticated waistband and invisible side zipper made them comfortable and practical. Although the velvet wasn’t as luxurious as I’d hoped, the fit and style made them a striking winter piece.

3. Black Textured Turtleneck Top ($47.84 AUD)

More sweater than top, this thick, cozy knit features unique horizontal detailing and extra-long sleeves. I sized up, which resulted in some extra fabric around the bust, but the piece remains stylish and versatile—perfect for winter layering.

4. Burgundy Knit Sweater Skirt ($79.00 AUD)

This fitted maxi skirt surprised me—it wasn’t as flared as expected and had a longer length. Despite minor sizing issues, it’s stretchy, soft, and warm, making it a great addition for colder months.

5. White Coat ($149.00 AUD)

This crisp white coat offered warmth and layering potential, but its awkward length and design quirks (like visible stitching and flimsy clasps) made styling a challenge. While it has some positives, it doesn’t justify the high price tag in my opinion.

6. Faux Leather Boat Neck Top ($99.00 AUD)

The thick, structured faux leather made this top difficult to style. Its length and lack of stretch posed challenges for tucking or layering, and sizing up didn’t resolve mobility issues. While unique, this piece wasn’t a favourite.

Final Thoughts

StyleWe offers unique designs and solid quality, but not every piece was a home run for me. Some items impressed with their fit and style, while others struggled with versatility or design details.

I’ve also seen quite a few negative reviews about the company online. While my personal experience was mostly positive, I think it’s important to approach with caution and keep in mind that experiences can vary greatly.

When shopping online, good-quality photos are crucial. While StyleWe does include images for their products, they sometimes lack the close-ups or multi-angle shots that can help you fully understand what you’re buying. Investing in better-quality visuals would not only enhance the customer experience but also reduce uncertainty about fabric, fit, and details.

While I’ve included prices for some items I purchased, please note that these were accurate at the time of purchase. StyleWe often runs sales, so prices can fluctuate slightly. Be sure to check the current price when shopping.

Sustainability

In today’s fashion landscape, sustainability matters. While StyleWe focuses on promoting independent designers, there’s room for more transparency regarding their fabrics and production practices. If sustainability is a priority for you, this might be something to keep in mind as you shop.

Returns Policy

Before you shop, it’s worth noting StyleWe’s return policy. All purchases—except for swimwear, underwear, panties, bags, and accessories—can be returned within 30 days of the delivery date. However, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping cost, and exchanges aren’t available at this time. This means it may not always be worth returning an item, so I recommend being extra sure about your choices before checking out. Keep in mind there’s some risk involved when purchasing.
