Frozen Birthday Party Crafts and Games Pinterest

If you have been following along on my Frozen party journey than welcome back! If you’ve only just joined us, you might want to catch up on my other Frozen Party posts – Frozen Birthday Party Decor and Frozen Birthday Party Food. This post is all about the activities of the day, namely the games we played and the crafts we created. All keeping with the Frozen birthday party theme.

Crafts

Crafts aren’t necessarily something you need to include at a party but I find it’s a good opportunity to get creative! It also allows the kids to get into the spirit of the party even if they haven’t dressed up. I find the simpler and faster the craft the better!

Anna and Elsa Crowns and Sven Antlers

These are included in the crafts because depending on the age of your guest you could have them cut out their own crowns or antlers and attach ribbons to the backs to fit their heads. As my guests weren’t really up to that stage yet. I just had them all made and ready to go. We had a co-ed party so I wanted to make sure there was a boy option.

Frozen Themed Playdough

I made some frozen themed glittery playdough in blue and white for a little playdough station at the party. Along with the playdough, I put out a couple rolling pins, a pizza cutter, star and heart cookie cutters and the snowflake fondant moulds I had used for the cake.To make the playdough, I just followed the instructions from The Best Ideas For Kids.

I had some large blue glitter in my craft box and also bought a pack of glitter from Kmart but it was very fine and rather hard to see in the dough even though I used up the whole tube of silver and blues. I’d recommend getting something a little bigger for yours.

Games

Games always make a party more fun and get everyone out of their shells and involved. With a young age group though you need to have simple games that they can get their head around. You also don’t want too many. This time around we had hired the Elsa princess which I mentioned in the first post and she played Pass the Parcel, Freeze and Hide n Seek with them. The only one I added onto that was Pin the Nose on Olaf.

Pin the Nose on Olaf

This is a re-imagining on the classic pin the tail game. If you’d like to download and print your own copy of this game the high-res files are on my Etsy page. I got mine printed on A5 silk paper from Officeworks as my printer only prints A4.  Just cut out the carrots, put blutac or sticky tape on the backs and you are ready to play. I didn’t think spinning around was necessary with kids this young but them my daughter first up somehow managed to absolutely nail it! That’s her carrot that is spot on in the right place! Everyone else managed to get the carrots all over the place though.

My daughter absolutely slayed at all the games this time around. I had to give all the prizes to the runner ups. Prizes are easy to come up with for a Frozen party. There is so much Frozen themed stuff out there! I ended up getting a Frozen Pez dispenser and a little Frozen water painting book. All these activities took us from about 9:30am – midday which was perfect timing. Have fun playing all your frozen birthday party crafts and games!
