I’m an Australian personal stylist and fashion, DIY and faith life blogger who thrives on layering, pattern mixing, unexpected pairings and helping you find your inner confidence. Fueled by all things chocolate and a daily dose of cat cuddles, I provide style advice and guidance for the unsure fashionista so they can discover their own personal style and feel confident in their own skin. Proof that one basic can create two completely different outfits ✨

I love showing how much of a difference styling can make, and this built-in bra cami is a great example. The top stays the same, but changing the accessories, colours and silhouettes completely changes the feel of the outfit.

Which one would you wear?

Welcome to the comprehensive Digital Closet Audit
Welcome to the comprehensive Digital Closet Audit Database. This registry is designed as an impartial decision-making tool to help you cut through marketing hype and self-select the precise digital wardrobe app that matches your specific item count, technical patience, and organizational goals.
Understanding the Rating Philosophy:
This audit applies a strict, scale-tested 1–5 star framework across 8 Locked Scoring Categories (40 points total). The default score is an objective 3/5 (Adequate). A score of 4 requires strong reliability, while a 5/5 is reserved only for genuinely excellent, best-in-class execution proven to handle heavy maximalist wardrobes (300 to 800+ items) without collapsing, lagging, or crashing.
A Note on Lower Scores:
It is crucial to understand that a low star rating does not inherently make an app “bad.” Many apps that score poorly on this rubric are designed as niche styling experiments, color typing tools, or educational platforms, rather than robust, high-inventory daily closet trackers. While they may fail as closet managers, they often deliver exceptional, standalone value in other areas. The strict penalty structure focuses heavily on scale and technical stability; if an app is not built for daily inventory management at volume, it will be penalized accordingly.

Recreating AI outfits from my own wardrobe 👖✨

I’ve been experimenting with @porcelainravenapp to style trickier pieces like these ruffle hem jeans, and honestly... the renders are actually great inspiration.

Would you wear the AI version or the IRL recreation? Let me know in the comments! 👇

After finally getting professionally colour draped
After finally getting professionally colour draped, I compared the results to every styling app I’d previously tested.

The results were actually more nuanced than I expected. One app got my season exactly right, two were incredibly close, and a couple completely missed the mark.

The biggest lesson? Undertone makes a huge difference.

Would you trust AI to analyse your colours, or would you rather have it done professionally? 👇

One of the biggest things I learnt during my professional colour analysis was that it’s not about avoiding entire colours…

It’s about choosing the version of that colour that works with your natural colouring.

Instead of warm mustard, my palette includes a cooler yellow.
Instead of a warm red, I suit a cooler red.

The difference is surprisingly subtle, but seeing the drapes side by side made it much easier to understand.

Did any of these comparisons surprise you? 👇

After my professional colour analysis, these were the colours that made me look and feel my best. 💙

Some were exactly what I expected… but one of them completely surprised me! 👀

Seeing my palette all together made it so much easier to understand why certain clothes have always worked for me and why others have never quite felt right.

Which colour would you be most likely to wear? I’d love to know your favourite! 👇

The light vs dark test wasn’t as straightforward as the others for me.

Dark colours felt too heavy, but surprisingly, the lightest shades weren’t quite right either, they almost washed me out.

The sweet spot ended up being somewhere in the middle: lighter than dark, but not overly pale.

Can you see what she means when you look at the drapes? 👀

The next step in my professional colour analysis was figuring out whether I suit bright or soft colours better.

I always thought bright colours felt a bit overwhelming on me, but seeing the drapes I actually started to doubt myself because the bright didn’t look bad.

Can you see the difference between the bright and soft drapes? Which one do you think suits me better? 👇

This was the very first drape my colour analyst tested... and she knew almost immediately that I was cool-toned.

She explained that the warm drape was reflecting yellow back onto my skin, while the cool drape looked much more in harmony. As soon as she swapped the drapes, I could see it too!

Can you see the difference, or do they look the same to you? 👇
